Our comprehensive customs clearance and freight forwarding workflow ensures smooth processing of international shipments
Consignment Registration
International shipments arrive from carriers (airlines/shipping lines) at entry points (airports/ports). Consignments are registered with master AWB/BL numbers and individual items are documented with detailed information.
Warehouse Receipt & Verification
Items are received at our warehouse facility where staff conduct item-by-item verification to confirm presence, condition, and accuracy against manifest. Missing or damaged items are documented for insurance claims.
KRA Customs Declaration
Items are submitted to Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) for customs clearance. Each item receives an IDF (Import Declaration Form) number. Customs duties and taxes are calculated based on item value, HS codes, and applicable rates.
Customs Payment
Once customs duties are assessed, customers are notified of payment requirements. Upon payment confirmation, customs releases the items and they are cleared for domestic distribution.
Delivery Charges & Payment Collection
Delivery charges are calculated based on weight, destination, and service level. Customers pay all fees (customs duties + delivery charges) through multiple payment methods (M-Pesa, Bank Transfer, Cash).
Shipment Creation & Branch Routing
Cleared items are converted to shipments with unique tracking numbers. Our smart routing system automatically assigns items to the nearest branch based on customer location for efficient distribution.
Rider Assignment & Final Delivery
Shipments are assigned to available riders at destination branches. Riders deliver to customer addresses with real-time tracking and SMS notifications at each stage until successful delivery confirmation.
